Terms of use

1. The service

The service is provided by SIA BRUNTOR ("we"). We offer guided rides on special vehicles ("rides"). Each vehicle carries one person.

2. Booking and payment

A booking is valid only once it is paid in full. Payments are processed by Stripe.

By paying, you confirm that you have read these terms, agree to them and take full responsibility under them. If you book several vehicles, you confirm that the other riders have been told about these terms too.

3. Cancellation and lateness

Bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded after payment.

If you are late, the ride still starts and ends at the booked time, and the missed time is not refunded.

The guide waits up to 10 minutes after the start time. If you do not arrive, the ride goes ahead without you and the price is not refunded.

If we cancel a ride (for example, for weather or safety), you choose a full refund or another time.

4. Rider requirements

Riders must be at least 18, or at least 15 when riding with a parent or legal guardian who takes responsibility for them.

Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances is not allowed. The guide may refuse anyone who does not seem able to ride safely; the price is then not refunded.

Riders must be healthy enough to control a vehicle safely.

Before the ride every rider shows an ID card, passport or driving licence, and the guide writes down their name and document number. Without a document the guide may refuse the ride.

5. Safety

Riders follow the guide's instructions and the traffic rules, and ride at a speed that suits the situation. The guide may end the ride for anyone who puts themselves or others in danger.

6. Liability

Riders take part at their own risk and take full responsibility for their own health, their actions and any damage they cause to other people, their property and the vehicle.

Damage to a vehicle caused by a rider's carelessness or breaking these terms is paid for by the rider.

We are liable only as far as the laws of the Republic of Latvia require.

7. Personal data

We use your name and phone number for the booking and for contacting you about the ride, including reminders before it. The guide writes down riders' names and document numbers so we know who drove each vehicle; document numbers are deleted 14 days after the ride. Card details are handled by Stripe and we never see them.

8. Gift cards

A gift card is valid for 12 months from purchase and covers one vehicle on one ride. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
